Day Three: I Lift Heavy Things, Then I Put Them Down.

Lifted weights today. It's so weird to go back and attempt to lift weights after you've taken a substantial amount of time off. Horrible, really. Really hard. I feel like such a wimp. I can't lift as much as I used to, I can't do as many chinups, and in general I don't want to even try that hard. The first few workouts back are definitely the hardest. I can see why quitters quit. It's hard to do something you don't feel like doing, even if you know it's good for you. But I guarantee you, fair readers, that I'm no quitter. I will fight through this initial inertia and get FIT this Auggie.
